Daggett, Calif. Mar. 20 - Dear Papa - I have been busy in my garden all morning, and I think everything is going to grow.
This is a lovely morning, and I am feeling fine. I had such a nice letter from Mr. James Merriam a few days ago. He also
sent me a book full of lovely flower pic tures? . I am going to write to him and try an d? illegible him up. All are well
