last summer. It was lucky for Sargent that his accident occurred in New York rather than at many of the places we visited.
He does not expect to be out without crutches until late in the month of January. I suppose you are now quietly at home,
enjoying the delightful climate of the season. As soon as I can get through some writing in hand I shall make a break for
Charleston to see my children and grandchildren and enjoy the sun occasionally. Here no one can tell what a day will bring
