How I wish I cood be with you today. O dear Papa when will I be strong enoufe to climb the mountains with you. Don't you think
in a year or two I might? Helen keeps asking why Papa does not come home to baby today? I she is very well and is now running
races with little Brownie. We come home in the daytime but stay at Grandpa's at night. We took all your note books over to
Granpa's hoase. This morning Mamma read about the dear little water ouzel singing in the clear cool spray. O I wish I cood
see it and hear it sing. We found another little goldfinch on its nest in the rose near the tank; and it is so sweet and gentle
and lets us come very near without flying off. baby says she wants to write a little letter to dear Papa. and there are many
good kisses too from baby and me. Your loving little girl, Annie Wanda Muir.
