home - I have not had a letter from John since you left - have you had any let me know when you write, are you attending any
evening school are you boarding where you were before - tell us what wages you are receiving if you can live comfortably is
Buffalo a healthy place this winter. Portage is not very healthy this winter there has been a good deal of fever and small
pox there. but not so much now I am glad non of our folks 3 have had either of these complaints they were all well on
Christmas but Margt. with her old complaints Duncan Reid is staying with her and attending the high school your father has
only sent for one copy of the American messenger for this year. instead of forty, he thought many were careless about them.
