Description:
A view of the Brand Mansion’s Reception Hall. A large carved wood fireplace hood dominates the room and the fireplace is
bordered by interior leaded glass windows. Carved Corinthian columns frame the doorway leading into the library. A chandelier
with six arms hangs in the center of the room from the decorative coved ceiling. The painting, 'Judith with the head of Holofernes',
can be seen in the distance hanging in the library. A page from Miradero, a book consisting of views of the home of Leslie
C. Brand in Glendale, Calif., and of the surrounding area. Caption title.
