Los Angeles, Cal., April 15, 1911. 325 West Adams Street. Dear Mr. Colby:- Of course we with thousands of others will
long miss dear Keith. I am very sorry that I could not get up today for the funeral. Indeed I did not know the time of the
funeral until this morning. I intend to get off on the Lark tomorrow night, arriving in San Francisco about nine Monday morning.
I have a ,good word from President Taft. He says in any case the matter will not be considered until after the report of the
Commission is sent in. To quote his own words - You can be sure of that. Faithfully yours, illegible
