160 Furby St. Feb. 3/10 illegible My dear Mr Muir: Thank you warmly for the little book which arrived to-day, which
has the added value of your kind autograph. And thank you also for your letter. Strikeen is, in my humble judgment, a rare
piece of prose, vital with the vitality of all immortal literature. Why did not the publishers do it up in a richer dress?
It ought to go in the catalogue with all those little masterpieces that we love to handle in velvet calf or vellum - With
many thank again, yrs Sincerely Elizabeth Parker 04697
