Home May 30, 1909. Darling Helen: I'm always so glad to know that from day to day you are getting better It has been so
dreadfully anxious a time these last 5 years. Yesterday was blazing hot the first oppressively hot day of the season, in
the afternoon the Nevada Docks warehouses were burned, also coal bunkers. Im pegging away alone now but must try to get a
