2 lea illegible - we both love to get away from the rush, for, I don't know what, and my all too short a visit with you
last summer make me appreciate more than ever how much I am missing being away back east away from such an influence as you
- But I must stop telling you such things you know it any way - but I do not think you appreciate how delighted you would
make us feel if you would only come and stay with us awhile - why, we would give you to eat - nuts and raisins and wine and
a welcome as pure as can be found on this dear old earth. I shall keep on working and some day we may return to California
and round? you up some way - and have more of those talks we all love so well- I have written Mr Colby urging him - you and
the club - to bring the Hech Hetchy matter to a final iss illegible at once. I feel we have the very best chance now we will
ever have to save the valley - I can't say more Love, sympathy and affection from us all to you always- R. B. Marshall
