Department of the interior Washington, D. c. NOV. 16, '92. My dear Sir: This is all right. Unless you choose to add
that Mr. weigel was sent to continue the investigation as to this matter, which the department had formerly instituted, under
resolution of the Senate, and upon which the Secretary had already reported, the opinion that the conditions of the grant
to California had not been commlied with: and that Mr. Weigel's letter would be sent to the Senate in connection with the
Secretary's annual report now in preparation. But I am not particular if for any reason you prefer the from. Thanks for
