letterhead comes of course as my guest. I thought you would like to hear of his explorations in South America. From an
invitation that I received from Miss Graydon it is apparent that youare not going to the Arts and Crafts but with on Saturday
evening. Yours very truly, Wm. D. Armes Oct. 11, 1894 My dear Mr. Muir, From the enclosed announcement you will
see that Professor Le Conte is to begin a course of lectures on the Glacial Epoch in California, on next Monday evening. In
connection with it he wishes to refer to the writings on the subject, and particularly to your articles. Will you please bring
me a list of these when we meet at the Club at noon on Saturday? I met Mark Kerr a few days ago and took the liberty of invitigin
