letterhead ADAMANA, ARIZ. May 23 1906 Dear Papa- We haven't had a letter from you for ever so long and wish we knew
what you were doing and how every thing is going at home. Are you still at the Keeler's or are you back in the valley again?
And how are the Bad Land forestry questions getting along. Jim has been away on a cattle round up so Helen and I have had
the guiding business all to our selves for several days. There has been some one here nearly every day but only one or two
people at a time Mr Stevenson's vegetable garden is doing finely and we now have plenty of radishes and green onions which
somewhat console us for the lack of oranges. We ate the last of that sack full yesterday. The weather has been fine for several
days and the illegible s and obeone flats are blooming with some of the loveliest wild flowers especially calicortus and lerkspurs.
