Aug 31st 1905. Dear Old Friend I am thinking so much of you and the girls in your sorrow, sympathizing sincerely in your
affliction. I wish I were near so I might be of some real help more than my poor pen can express. From my California papers
I think you are ill as well as Helen, but I am sure your brave spirit will rise to the occasion, and Helen needs you now,
doubly, and I feel you will gird yourself anew and good news will reach me I trust soon of your welfare and hers. 03625
Cousin Jessie says tell you how sorry she is for your trouble and would be glad to see you and your daughters. Please let
me know how you and Helen are getting on - Wanda is your mainstay I can well imagine. Love to all Emily O. Wilson 7116
