letterhead PASADENA, CALIFORNIA Dec 10, 1907 My dear Muir Your letter of the 6th inst, but not mailed till the 9th reached
me today. We are so sorry to learn that poor Helen is threatened with another long siege on the desert. We did hope that she
would recover from the last attack, and that you both could enjoy your home. Mrs Sellers I have been and are still very busy
with a gang of carpenters, painters decorators on the house, trying to do as little as possible (as we are very anxious to
get in the house) but still doing a great deal - we found it necessary then one thing led to another - Mrs Sellers is pretty
well and I am very much better then I was when I wrote you last. I have just returned from the house where I have been all
day am very tired. Our goods are some wheres on the road if they get here this month will be thankful. Sincerely yours A
