Home May 29, 1909 Darling Helen: I'm glad you are taking care of yourself these howling days. It has been very windy here
also. I received forwarded the Marcello deed to Mr George but he says there was another deed for Mr Talken which was to have
been made about the same time which has not been received Do you remember anything about Perhaps it was sent to you. I sent
the check wanted by Mr Van Dyke in registered letter I suppose you have received it ere this. The roses are past prime but
the jasmine is just beginning to bloom the cal illegible on Romneys is in full glory making a wonderful show I saw Keith yesterday,
he is looking better made kind inquiries about you All well here, kindest regards to all Ever your devoted father John Muir
