August 30, 1907. Dear Mr. Muir: We take pleasure in enclosing the usual semi-annual statement, showing the sales of Our
National Parks for the past six months, together with our check to balance the account. When we last wrote to you, with regard
to your book on the Yosemite and the work on Alaska, which you had then in hand, you spoke of the possibility that the Century
Company would take advantage of a prior engagement with you for the former book; and we venture now to take this opportunity
of renewing our expression of keen interest in either work. With Kindest regards, Yours very sincerely, illegible Mr.
John Muir. 282 03924
