Description:
MUSEUM FUNDRAISER, 1973. With the widening of I-580 in the mid-1970s, Murray School was in danger of being demolished to
make room for the construction. The people of Dublin once again rose to the challenge and developed a plan to move the entire
structure to a new location next to St. Raymond's Church, though it would not be cheap. Museum fund-raisers, such as this
one, were needed to raise $30,000 required for the move. Page 115, Images of America : Dublin, by Mike Lynch and the Dublin
