Home, Apr. 17, 1908 Darling Helen: Tom returned from Berkeley this morning. He says Wanda feels better than at any time
since the baby's birth, will probably visit you in about 2 weeks I think she ought to make you a very long visit for her health.
Of course nothing has been done on the House trade. The Sec. of the Interior has at last decided the Hetch Hetchy question,
we have won the long-fought battle. Manson's trip was all in vain. He was told the case was closed was refused by Garfield.
Hurrah The garden is lovely - I feel ever so much better If you will only keep well I'll be able to do something - am at
work on Stickin e? -JM.
