thanking me for book of photos special Martinez, Dec 26, 1900. My dear Mr Lukens. I thank you heartily for the handsome
book of photographs which I know cost much pains time money. How well they illustrate your long delightful wanderings especially
in the Sierra San Gabriel. Apart from its beauty the friendliness it shows, it will be very useful to me in my studies ever
remind me of the trips we made on the Upper illegible I wish I could send you something that would give you anything like
as much pleasure. Remember me with best wishes for the New Year to Mrs Lukens Lottie. I hope she will like the letter book
