9, 1905 Prof. John Muir, Martinez, Cal. My dear Prof. Muir:- The new booklet containing revised By-Laws and list of
members, will soon be ready for distribution. At the same time the booklet is mailed it will be possible to enclose slip containing
names of two candidates proposed for m illegible orship. In accordance with the By-Laws I herewith enclose the names of the
candidates proposed for your approval before submitting them to the Club members. Mr. Gentwell's name was without the second
seconder, so I added my new proforma I submit these names at the request of Prof. Fay who also asks mo to obtain an expression
of opinion from the members of the board as to whether or not they would favor the formation of a Canadian Section with headquarters
at Calgary. Mr. Arthur O. Wheeler has intimated that next year he will be glad to undertake the formation of such a section
if the same meets the approval of the Club. Awaiting your action on the names proposed and also your views on the proposed
