letterhead Aug 30th 1901 Dear Mr. Muir; I feel that you are interested more or less in my welfare in this busy world
of ours, so I have a little short chapter to add to the brief sketch I sent you of my life. I am to be married to Miss Grace
Evans of St Louis, September 12th at 830 in the evening. The wedding will be a quiet home ceremony, and the rich and impressive
Episcopal service used. On Sep. 17th we sail in the immense steam ship Celtic (20000 tons) for Liverpool. Among other pleasures
in store for us is a canoe cruise down the Thames, enjoying the great beauties of Henley, Meedmenham, Cookham and Windsor.
I expect to meet three of my nieces in Paris - they having had a years outing already, and with this vast help I hope to really
enjoy Paris and its people - a thing I have so far never succeeded in doing. November and December will be 02887
