THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR WASHINGTON June 11, 1909. My dear Mr. Johnson: In addition to what I have said to you
in correspondence respecting the Hetch Hetchy Valley, and in reply to your letter of June 10, just received, will say that
it is my intention to visit the valley during the summer in connection with a visit to the Yosemite, and I hope to become
better informed in connection with the situation. Very truly yours, illegible Secretary Mr. R. U. Johnson, Editorial
