Old Home, Apr. 27, 1909 Dear Mrs Hooker, I have your kind letter two forwarded letters. Helen stayed only a day at Pasadena,
arrived at her darling desert happy hopeful not the least tired. I start for Yosemite with J. B. Co on the 29th will report
to you. The old Home seems lonelier than ever. How glad I am you like me wish me luck My love to Mr Hooker, most pious of
