Feb.5,1907 Alaska Excursion: Dr. John Muir, Martinez, Calif. My dear Sir:- Referring to our communication to you
under date of October 31, 1906, and your favored reply dated November7th, relative to joining Professor Davidson on a trip
from Seattle to Southeastern Alaska and return sailing from Seattle June 14th: We sincerely hope that your daughter's health
is entirely amended and that her condition does not at this time stand as a hindrance toward asserting your intention of making
the trip. We are anxious to know definitely in the matter so that we may inform Professor Davidson., A line from you at
