Daggett - Oct 13 - 1908 Dear Papa - We received the two crates of fine grapes all right and have been feasting ever since.
As Mr Van Dyke is still in Los Angeles I gave the grapes to Dick. The agent here said fifty cents was the right price, that
a mistake had been made in charging me eighty-five, and he would pay me the difference. I think the inclosed bill is all
right tho' awfully large I know. It is one of those I thought Wanda has paid. Glorious weather here. Im well and ever happy.
