Martinez, Cal. Apr. 11, 1902. My dear Merriam I am very glad to learn through Mr. Colby that you are likely to be in the
Kings River region this summer. The girls and I will probably be there for a week or two. In any case you must be sure to
make our house headquarters and home. We hope all your family will come and the Baileys. I mislaid or missent the clippings
I had selected for you on the miserable sheep question. Here are two recent ones. Let me hear how you prosper. Give my regards
