President in place of Prof. George Davidson, resigned. Prof. J. N. LeConte was elected Councilor to fill the vacancy caused
by the promotion of Prof. Muir. In view of the fact that President Roosevelt has been for a number of years an Honorary member
of the English Alpine Club, and in consideration of the fact that by his ascents in Switzerland he is eligible for membership
in our Club - the members of the Board of Directors present at Boston meeting unanimously approved of his election to Hon.
membership in our organization. In case this action was concurred in by all the other members of the Board - the Rev. H.P.
Nichols and the Secretary were appointed a Committee to notify the President of his election. The Secretary requests you
