2 Yes I do wish we did not live so far apart as there are many things that weigh that are hard to make plain by letter I
wish Business, some profitable business, might call you our way. I commenced to write to you some dayes ago when I re'cd the
money, but as I expected John here in a few days waited till he has come, he seems to want to cling to the Ranch yet a while
but as yet see's no way clear. Harry likes to stay there a year from next August will be twenty one, he seems to like the
notion of his Father putting some sheep on the place, for him to help take care of when he is of age to give him 01420
3 an interest in them in the place but he needs his fathers help to make a success of anything and also his experience as
Harry knows hardly anything about the care of sheep. John has gone downtown to advertise the house for sale. or rent. times
are very dull here and it is a hard time to sell property but I hope somebody may be willing to give us a fare price for the
present we will move to Kansas, it will cost less to live together we can help each other better I thank Louie for her kind
thoughtfulness of me mine but please tell her that if ever our menfolks needed our help (May's mine) to keep house for them
