An interior photograph of the Brand Library reading room taken sometime during its opening year in 1956. The Brand Library
is the art and music section of the Glendale Public Library. Original decorative features include the chandelier, tile fireplace
and mirrored mantel, silk wall coverings and carved Corinthian columns. The Brand Library was once the home of Leslie C. Brand,
and this was originally the drawing room or sitting room. Title supplied by cataloger.
