Dear John? Muir: January the First I wish you a Happy New Year And besides, I hope you may Have many, many Friends to
wish you All I wish for you to-day. Indeed we wish this and much more to May the season bring you all the joy and richness
that you so well deserve Can you not come down to Berkeley and spend just a in margin: little time between Charlie and us?
It would make me so happy to have you Cordially, Edith Simonds. The little illegible sends her special New Year love
to her kind friend, Mr. Muir
