532 - 24th St Oakland Dec 7, 1895 Dear Mr Muir, On the mantel shelf of the room where I write are the pictures of your
children whom I have come to almost reckon as my own, to think that their smiles belong to myself personally. And along with
this has grown my desire to see talk with their father once more. Do let me know when you will be in the vicinity again. If
possible do come here see us: the latch string reaches out to the street. Or if you cannot do this let me know where I may
see you if possible Mahomet will go to the mountain. We are boarding at the Kelsey House. Very truly yours F. B. Perkins
