Martinez. California, April 4, 1914. Dear Mr. Evans: Very few of the many letters that come to me these days bring forth
so good a lot of dear old Yosemite memories as yours of March 10th. I recall that first Eagle Peak excursion with lovely pleasure
as the most novel, interesting and memorable of all my little trips around Yosemite walls. I have, however, forgotten the
names of the party, and if they still linger in your memory I hope you will send them to me, as I should like to refer to
them in another Yosemite book that may form a volume of my Autobiography continued from My Boyhood and Youth, recently published.
Please remember me to your daughters with kindest regards, and believe me ever faithfully yours, John Muir. 09849
