letterhead 6 April, 1894 Dear Mr. Muir. Responsiviely to your request of the other day, I am sending you by express
an octavo parcel. Of the Bay Region Manual I have enclosed twop copies, which you are to receive as one. That in paper illegible
matches, in size, the Pittmia and Flora Franciscana volumes; and in this whole illegible --or at least, in the appearance
they make on the shelf, all in a row, when recently bound--I take some pride Parts IV V of the Flora Franciscana I hope to
