separate cover, today, a photograph of yourself, which I am going to ask if you will be kind enough to autograph for me,
Please believe me, that no gratification of an idle whim prompts me to ask this from you, but that I desire it to frame and
hang on the walls of my library as a personal memento of one whose writings have afforded both Mrs. Scott and I great pleasure.
I should prefer to have the photo signed on the mount, underneath, rather than on the picture itself I am enclosing 04709
