Japanese Americans -- Evacuation and relocation, 1942-1945
Description:
Writing in response to Snavely's letter of April 20, 1942 (see Dbase #279), Bird makes four suggestions on how Snavely may
proceed in the matter of student relocation, including "kindly overture" to Provost E. R. Hedrick and a letter to General
DeWitt. Bird also writes that unless student relocation is taken care of, "there will be evil done a great many very excellent
and devoted Japanese Americans."
