Martinez, Jan. 3, 1914 Dear sister Mary, Your new years greeting arrived today and I gladly wish you Heaven's best blessings
for 1914 every other year of your life. You must find great pleasure in your painting drawing. I'm now at work on my travels
in Alaska which I hope to get off my hands this year, after which I hope to go on with other volumes of autobiography The
first entitled My Boyhood Youth I suppose you have read. Altogether I have published only 7 volumes though I have more than
a score in mind. I suppose you have seen newspaper notices of my latest travels in Africa South America. We are all pretty
well. Helen's address is (Mrs Buel A. Funk. (Daggett California She has two fine boys. Wanda has three. come see us. Your
