IOO3 ORANGE GROVE AVENUE, PASADENA. February 8,1911. My dear Mr. Muir Dr. Scherer handed me your letterto him of the
4th instant, and I am delighted you can be one of the party of gentlemen to meet Mr. Roosevelt at dinner at my home March
21st,at six o'clock; and it will give me great pleasure if you will also he my guest at the lecture the same evening. Cordially
