4 The country looks rather dreary. everything looks brown to me except a little around the creek. There has been no rain
to do any good here since May the creek illegible a good many springs which come? quite near the house. make me often think
of Fountaine Lake, but there is not a tree in the land -scape. hardly anything but buffalo grass. it is wonderful how the
