2 mittee on publication, also of three members, Directors. There is also a committee of thirteen on admissions, not Directors.
The President is ex- officer? a member of all committees. If I might make a suggestion as to the personnel of the committees,
I would suggest that Olney, Bronner? , and Price be the auditing committee and Johnson, Senger? and Aumes the publication
committee. This leaves out merely Pres. Jordan, who would not do much work on a committee anyhow, and Mr. Kerr, who leaves
in a few weeks. If you think Pres. Jordan should be on a committee, I shall be glad to have you put him in place of me. At
first I intended to send you a complete list of the members from which to select thirteen from for the committee on admissions,
but afterwards thought that this would be little use to you because you would not what members had shown an especial interest
in the Club. 3 I enclose a list of twenty-six of the more prominent members that I think would be willing to serve on
such a committee. Please mark them so as to indicate the order in which you prefer to have them notified and I will see that
the first thirteen are notified. If one declines to serve I will notify no. 14 and so on. There are two names on our list
without initials or addresses; they are Nolte? and Belden, illegible thologist. I hope you will not think it presumptuous
in me to make suggestions in regard to the committees: I do it simply to save you trouble. Yours very truly, Wm. D. Armes.
