Home June 17, 1908. Darling Helen; I'm glad you are enjoying the jasmine. I don't know who sent the cherries but guess
it was Tom, for he told me Monday he had sent you a box, I have not seen him lately to find out. The whole family seems to
have gone off again. I think Stickeen will take all the month. though he goes on well now I even enjoy rewriting the dear
Muggins. Had a letter from David Douglas yesterday. He always sends kind inquiries some regard for you. Prof Balfour wants
more Arizona pet? wood. Those sent before are very interesting he says. Lovingly your Father John Muir
