Martinez, Apr 3, 1903 Dear Mr Mrs Sellers we were all sorely disappointed when we got word that confounded business called
you straight back to Chicago ere we had sight of you. Keith no doubt feels the same. I'm at work on an article on glaciers
for an encyclopedia when that is done I have to get ready for a long trip abroad with Prof. Sargent of Boston to study trees
mountains ice etc. I leave here for Boston May 18 just after the Presidents' short Yosemite trip hope to get a glimpse of
you as I pass through Chicago. Ever yours John Muir in margin: When are we to have our long trip together?
