Home, Oct. 24th, 1914 Dear Papa:- All the little vines and roses seen to be doing well, especially the jassmines, for
the leaves on them are as fresh as tho they had never been moved. I fuss with them a lot and feel sure they will grow. We
are grape-hungry again. You know you said to tell you when I wanted more. The boys keep asking if I have any good grapes.
How are the Tokays this year? If they are nice and firm send a box of them too please. All are well as ever here. The baby
is growing wonderfully and is so happy and good all the time. He is sitting in his carriage now watching cottonwood leaves
blowing in the breeze thru the window. How is Wanda's little Robert? When are you coming to see us? Lovingly Helen 05870
