320 WEST CALIFORNIA STREET PASADENA, CALIFORNIA Aug 21, 1910 Dear Mr Muir- Wife and I would like very much if you
could run down and come to our house and go with us to the Hale's reception, to meet the members of the International Union
of Cooperation in Solar research: to be held at their house her in Pasadena, on (Aug) 29' inst at 4 to 6 PM a week from tomorrow,
Monday. Then spend as much time with us as you can afford. I enclose Van Trump's letter Postal Card which you left here-
I forwarded a letter addressed to you here, from Edinburg, in the handwriting of Mrs Logan? , Mrs Sellers' sister. The ladies
all join in king regards to you and in hopes that you will come go with us to the reception - no dress suit required. Yours
