July 9,1901. Dear Mr.Muir, It has been suggested to us that a map of the four park illegible Would it be possible for
you to take a map and mark in red or black ink the trails you have followed and which you have described in the chapters?
We are still puzzling over the problem of illustration, but shall, I hope,reach a satisfactory conclusion in the matter very
