letterhead My dear Mr. Muir, After many years of patient suffering Janet is dead. You were one of her dearest friends
of whom she spoke often and of whose friendship she was always proud. My mother is bearing the strain remarkably well and
promises to be 03523 with us for some time to come. With affectionate memories of your kindness to Janet and to all of
us I am sincerely yours, Charles W. Moores. February 2, 1905.
