THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON Beverly, Massachusetts, September 6, 1909. My dear Mr. Muir: The President asks me to say
that he would be very glad to have you join him at San Francisco on October 6th and go with him through the Yosemite National
Park. For your information I enclose a copy of the President's itinerary. Will you be good enough to 1st me know wether you
