Mr.John Muir, Martinez, Ca1ifornia. Dear Mr. Muir: At last we have arranged matters for sending the box of fossil wood
to Edinburgh, Scotland, our Freight Department having forwarded the necessary instructions to agent at Muir, California, on
October 29th. As soon as we receive the bill of lading covering this shipment I will forward same to prof. of. Balfour, telling
him that it is done on your request. Trusting that everything will be satisfactory and thanking you for your trouble, I beg
