Home, Sep. 15, 1908. Darling Helen, I sent a Goldberg box 4 or 5 days ago. but if the list you are to send contains things
I have anticipated I'll send another. I added a thousand dollars to your term deposit acct. in the Martinez Bank today You
have quite a lot of money coming in soon. I can't well leave now - so much busieness to look after - 3 more deeds or 4 soon
to be sent you for signature grapes to ship etc no end of letters piling on me. But when you really need me say so I'll be
with you by first train. We're all about as usual. above all its glorious to know you are still marching bravely to sound
happy health. Ever your loving father John Muir
