Transcription:
letterhead May 1, 1902. Dear Mr. Muir: Mrs. Millard and I thank you heartily for your botanical information and for
the photographs. To us, always interested in such matters, they were very pleasing and valuable. It will be a long time before
we forget your visit to our canon diacritic . Let it not be the last. Remember that Muir day is any and all days with us.
You saw the ceanothus blooms at their best. Satisfied with your inspection and honored by it, they are now passing gradually
away. With regards to Mrs. Muir and the young ladies. I am sincerely yours Millard. 02997
