Martinez, March 25, 1895 My dear Miss Graydon, Tell Professor Mrs Anderson that we deeply sympathize with them in their
terrible loss--but in the presence of death all speech seems out of place. God grant them light strength in their bereavement
the boy will not come back to them but they will go to him in the better land. Come when you can Ever your friend John
